The project involves the construction of 76 homes in the Trinitat Vella neighbourhood as an exercise in urban integration and residential quality. The development responds to some very demanding initial conditions: steep slopes on the perimeter streets, the need to define an urban frontage towards the main square, and the challenge of creating spacious, warm and well-oriented homes with the best possible views.
Currently, 40 of the 76 planned homes have been built, as the Trinitat Vella Penitentiary Centre is still in use. However, the project is already demonstrating its ability to transform the environment and offer a model of decent and inclusive housing.
