CEM Espronceda is a new sports centre under construction in Barcelona, designed as a health and wellness space for the neighbourhood. The project combines contemporary architecture with a green, landscaped interior, in line with the spirit of Cerdà’s morphology: a built-up ring protecting a natural oasis in the heart of the island.
